Hello there!
My sister gave me her Canon Autofocus 318M, which she picked up from a car boot sale, and I was wondering what I could do with it.
I can get hold of the filmstock online, and get it processed, but I don't know anything about Linear editing, telecine, SFX, lighting, synching the sound (and what to sync the sound onto - I always get a synching feeling!), EDLs, etc., etc.
any help I can get would be greeted with enthusiastic gibberish
cheers
Paul (celluloid virgin)

Where to begin? Kind of a vague question. I am sure there are people out there who wouldn't mind writing an entire book on super-8 for a reply but there is already a wealth of information in previous notes on this site. A good strategy would be to find what you can here and on other websites and then ask more specific questions. Good luck.
